The name of the newest Open Gear ReSec, speaks for itself as the dial of the watch can appear in the full color range of a Chameleon. The timepiece is a mechanical homage to diversity. The handmade guilloché dial magically changes its color from hypnotizing green to a soft turquoise and transports you from the deepest jungle of Brazil to the beaches of the Caribbeans within the blink of an eye. Relentless experimenting with colors combined with technical expertise have led to the creation of the visionary Open Gear ReSec Chameleon.
Chronoswiss is the only brand with colour-shifting, handmade guilloche dials. This visionary technique has been invented and crafted by Chronoswiss head of design Maik Panziera. To achieve this dramatic change of color a short-wave hand guilloché pattern on the dial is combined with high-tech nano coating. Shifting colours, a regulator set-up on a 3-dimensional dial, a retrograde second and exposed mechanics – Rarely has a timepiece embodied the claim of the brand “modern mechanic” in such a dramatic way.
The watch reflects the variety of the Chronoswiss design language as well as the diversity of its clients. Chronoswiss creates unique limited-edition timepiece for those who want to stand out, dare to think differently and aspire innovation. “Being an exclusive brand, goes far beyond a strict limitation of our timepieces” says Owner and CEO Oliver Ebstein. “Exclusivity means to stretch boundaries and dare to step on pathways that have never been explored before. As a family owned company we have the freedom and luxury to try new things, things that would scare others.”
The Open Gear Resec Chameleon merges its progressive design with the classic characteristics of the brand, such as the regulator set-up, the knurled bezel and the onion crown. It is strictly limited to 50 timepieces worldwide.
