The fully in-house created Chronoswiss regulator features a hand guillochéd dial with 60 individually drawn lines glowing deep purple. Those flowing, handmade shapes are inspired by the clash of Rockstar Jimi Hendrix and Chronos, the Greek god of time.

Maik Panziera, Head Designer of Chronoswiss, creates each of these inimitable lines by hand in the Lucerne Atelier using a 100-year-old machine. The guilloché pattern on the Purple Haze reflects Jimi Hendrix melody of life: Apparently simple, but in fact extremely complex. The gap between one line and the next for example is a mere 0.275mm. By the way: Story has it that Maik listens to heavy metal when creating the dials for the Purple Haze…

Equipped with a rubber strap with textile finish the Purple Haze withstands a sleepless night in Woodstock as well as jam sessions in your back yard.
