We recommend a light service every 3–5 years and a full overhaul every 5–7 years to maintain optimal performance.
What is the warranty on repairs?
Our services include a 12-month warranty for all serviced components, excluding vintage pieces (20+ years).
What is the average repair time?
Most services are completed within 5–6 weeks. We’ll provide a detailed estimate once your watch is assessed.
How do I send my watch in?
Contact us first — we’ll guide you through safe shipping, or offer a pick-up service in select regions.
Is my Chronoswiss water-resistant?
Yes. All current models are rated between 3–10 ATM.
Can I drop off or pick up my watch personally?
Absolutely — just schedule an appointment at our Atelier in Lucerne.

How do I clean my watch?
Use a soft brush and damp cloth to gently remove dust. Avoid solvents or abrasive materials.
How do I change the strap?
We recommend professional installation to avoid damage to the case or screws.
When should I not set the date?
Avoid setting the date between 22:00 and 02:00, when the date-change mechanism is engaged
What’s the warranty period for new Chronoswiss watches?
24 months from the purchase date, extendable to 36 months with online registration.
My watch stopped. What now?
Wind the crown clockwise ~40 times. Manual vs. automatic watches differ slightly - both need winding if not worn daily.
